This is based on the Bible but it's not exactly the Bible. Adreana and Trevor are good friends in the city of Jerusalem. Adreana is a slave and serves her Roman master who is a centurion soldier in Pilate's palace. Trevor is the youngest son of a once wealthy Jewish merchant. They both meet each morning at the neighborhood spring to get water. "Why are you wearing your hood over your head, Trevor?" asked Adreana. "Shhh, Adrena I don't want the guys knowing I have to get the water, it's women's work you know." whispered Trevor. "Are you next in line Adreana?" "Yes, why are you in a hurry Trevor?" "Today I have to hurry home to help prepare for the Passover celebration." replied Trevor nervously. "Trevor, while we are waiting, tell me about this Passover celebration." "Well let me see...where do I begin? Hundreds of years ago my people lived in Egypt. We were all slaves to Pharaoh." Trevor began. "All of you were slaves?" How did you get free? All of my life I've wanted to be free. How did you get free?" Adreana excitedly interrupted. "That's the story of the Passover. How God in His great power set us free. Now calm down and let me tell you."

Trevor was a good young Jewish man because he remembers: As the Bible says   You shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt, and the Lord your God brought you out of there by a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm;   Trevor is about to tell Adreana about the mighty hand and the outstreatched arm of the Lord to save His people. Later this same week Trevor and Adrena would learn far more about the outstreatched arm of the Lord and how it would save them. The good news is that God stretches His arm out to try to save every one of us.
